Specialty in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing

Mechanical engineering constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of the consumer industry and the manufacture of equipment goods. Its purpose covers the design, analysis, manufacture and maintenance of essential mechanical systems for the development of daily life and the manufacture of innovative products.

In recent decades, this field has experienced a remarkable advance thanks to the incorporation of new technologies, allowing to explore new horizons and design, manufacture and maintain equipment and systems with higher capabilities and greater efficiency.

The specialty in mechanical engineering and manufacturing, within the training framework of the University Master in Industrial Engineering, aims to train highly specialized professionals in this area. In line with the current demand of the industrial sector, the Master enables students to carry out research, development and innovation in the design and execution of manufacturing products and processes in the field of mechanical engineering.

The training program provides the knowledge and tools necessary to design, project, calculate and manufacture mechanical systems, products, processes, facilities and industrial plants. All this is achieved through advanced analysis, experimentation and design techniques of mechanical systems, as well as the resolution of mechanical problems with solvency and safety.
