70's
This decade began with the relocation of the headquarters and could be described as the Baroque era in telecommunications. These were years of transition and, above all, of great innovation. They were also years of continuous hiring, increasing the telecommunications workforce. It was the decade of football matches and team meals, and a time of unprecedented union activity. A period filled with important projects, all of them significant for the future of telecommunications, although the Switching Station in Borbolla stands out. The first microwave radio link was established, with a capacity of up to 12 channels. All other communications were carried out via carrier waves.
The network of fixed and mobile radiotelephones for the operating crews of the various transformer substations is implemented, and the AKNR automatic switchboard network is launched. Furthermore, during this period, the Seville Electricity Company is a pioneer in contracting the first analog radio links installed between Seville and Dos Hermanas and between Seville and Tajo de la Encantada.
