Would you like to use your time at ETSI to meet students from other countries, develop new skills, and participate in projects beyond the classroom? At ESTIEM, you'll find opportunities to do so from day one.

Since its founding in 1990, ESTIEM has connected engineering students through international meetings, activities with companies, and challenges that allow them to test their ideas. Organizing these initiatives enables students to coordinate projects and take on real-world responsibilities. Participating in them also helps students connect with the professional world, discover other cultures, and build relationships both within and outside the School. Today, our network comprises 76 local groups in 26 countries and reaches more than 10,000 students.

Goals

ESTIEM's main objective is for students to develop skills useful for their future through hands-on experience. By taking on tasks in organizing activities, they can learn to plan, make decisions, work in teams, speak in public, and manage unexpected situations. Our goal is for each member to have the opportunity to propose ideas, implement them, and learn throughout the process.

In addition to supporting academic, professional, and personal development, we promote networking with businesses, collaboration among students, and the use of languages ​​in real-world situations. In Seville, with a local group founded in 2002 and a team of over 200 members, we encourage everyone to explore their interests, build confidence, and prepare for the world they will encounter after graduation.

What will you gain from being a member of ETSIEM LG Sevilla?

As a member of ESTIEM you will have access to the largest student network in Europe, being able to participate in the more than 150 annual events that take place in Europe at a symbolic price and, in addition, benefit from the infrastructure of the Seville group through the multiple job offers of important companies in the sector or conferences and workshops given by renowned professionals.

Activities 2026/27

During the 2026/27 academic year, these will be our main events:

Visit and training at Iturri - October 2026: For three days, members will get to know the company up close and participate free of charge in training on business strategy, idea development, promotion and sales, project management and design and production processes.

“Let's Get a Job!” - November 2026: A meeting with companies from different engineering sectors to practice job interviews and prepare for future selection processes.

TIMES Local Phase - December 2026: A consulting event in which participants will work as a team to solve a business case and defend their proposal in the Seville phase of this European competition.

Exchange with ESTIEM LG Tampere - February and March 2027: A shared experience with the local group in Tampere, Finland, to learn about other ways of studying and experiencing engineering, discover both cities and strengthen ties between their students.

TIMES International Semifinals and Final - June 2027. One of ESTIEM's biggest events of the year will take place in Seville, where we will host around 300 students from across Europe. Teams will compete by solving business cases, developing proposals, and presenting them to a jury until they reach the final. It will be an ideal opportunity to experience one of ESTIEM's most prestigious competitions from ETSI and participate in organizing a large-scale international event.
