ESTIEM is an organization that was created in 1990 to increase communication and cooperation between students and universities in Europe within the field of Engineering. It is currently based in 25 countries and 66 cities throughout Europe, with a number of close to 5,000 members.

Board of Directors

Secretary: Javier Gil Avilés Javier.gil.aviles@estiem.org
Treasurer: Manuel River Jiménez Manuel.rivert.jimenez@estiem.org

Goals

The objective of our organization is to train engineering students in skills that are not enhanced during the university period, such as group work techniques, public speaking, leadership or languages. Likewise, they are assisted in their professional and personal development for their future as engineers.

Since its reorganization in 2009, ESTIEM's Local Group Seville has experienced exponential growth both in the number of members and in the number of events held with resounding success. The current group exceeds 200 members, of which about 40-45 work actively daily in organizing activities.

Activities 2024

For this course there are 3 main events, being one of them the most magnitude at European level.

The first will be the “Let's get a Job!”: Various companies from all sectors of engineering will come to interview our members to prepare them for a future job interview, on November 14 and 15.

We will continue with the Times: Competition of real consulting cases at European level. The local phase will be held on December 5. We will end with the 69th edition of the Council Meeting: the General Assembly of the Association where more than 300 students will be joined from all corners of Europe from November 4 to 10 in the ETSI.
