Sustainability
US Sustainability Office
The Sustainability Office of the University of Seville depends on the Vice-Rector's Office for Infrastructure and New Technologies and was born with the mission of inspiring sustainable policies within the University of Seville, in accordance with its Statute and the Government Program. The Strategic Sustainability Plan is the natural result of this mission.
The promotion of the Office's culture of sustainability is developed in a double scenario: the University Community and society in general. It aspires, firstly, to train and inform the University Community about the actions and plans that the University itself develops on sustainability issues and, secondly, to become an information and training reference for the rest of the citizens.
The Sustainability Office therefore pursues scientific, social and informative purposes: it aims to promote attitudes that mitigate climate change and encourage reflection on bioclimatism, energy, water, waste, convivial green spaces, mobility and biodiversity.
