Schneider Electric Chair: Digitalization and Industrial Artificial Intelligence

The chair seeks to build a bridge between the academic and business world to face the challenges posed by digital transformation and energy transition into the industry. Among its main lines of action are: the promotion of sustainable and energy transition, exploring new technologies and strategies of artificial digitalization and intelligence applied to the industry; and the promotion of a business culture in young university students, through training in key aspects such as organization, values ​​and corporate culture from a multidisciplinary approach. 

In addition, the Chair will promote high -impact academic research on topics such as the digital transformation of the management and automation of electricity, the integration of renewable and sustainable energy, the study of new technologies and trends and the application of technologies solutions of the technologies of the Information and communications (ICT). The Schneider Electric Chair: Industrial Artificial Digitalization and Intelligence aspires to consolidate as a reference in the formation of key technical and business skills for the future of the industry. 

Its headquarters will be located at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, an ideal academic environment for the development of joint research and training activities. In addition, this project will encourage specialized talent, facilitating the meeting between students, academics and professionals in the sector, and promoting research and development initiatives that address the challenges of the industry.
