Schneider Electric Chair: Digitalization and Industrial Artificial Intelligence

The Chair aims to bridge the gap between academia and business to address the challenges posed by digital transformation and the energy transition in industry. Its main lines of action include: promoting a sustainable energy transition by exploring new technologies and digitalization and artificial intelligence strategies applied to industry; and fostering an entrepreneurial culture among university students through training in key areas such as organization, values, and corporate culture from a multidisciplinary perspective.

Furthermore, the chair will promote high-impact academic research on topics such as the digital transformation of electrical power management and automation, the integration of renewable and sustainable energies, the study of new technologies and trends, and the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions. The Schneider Electric Chair: Digitalization and Industrial Artificial Intelligence aims to establish itself as a benchmark in the development of key technical and business skills for the future of industry.

Its headquarters will be located at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, an ideal academic environment for developing joint research and training activities. Furthermore, this project will foster specialized talent, facilitating interaction between students, academics, and industry professionals, and promoting research and development initiatives that address industry challenges.
