"The years at ETSI were the first of my technical training. Although at that time we may not have realized it, a great many tools and situations were made available to us so that the problems and challenges that came later would be easier to overcome."
"I am a Civil Engineer, graduated from ETSI, where I had the opportunity to study for a year as an Erasmus student at the Politecnico di Milano. Subsequently, I obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. After completing this training, I had a brief stint as a transport modeler and then began working as a project technician in the Highways Department of AYESA in Seville. For two years there, I had the opportunity to learn how work operates in a large company and how construction projects of all kinds are developed, from major highways to urban renewal projects guided by sustainable mobility. Pursuing this goal, considering the necessary transformation towards more livable urban spaces on a human scale, led me to a complete career change, accepting a research proposal within the framework of doctoral studies. The opportunity offered by the Politecnico di Milano and the European Commission allows me to delve deeper into the challenges that car dependency poses to more rural and geographically dispersed societies, promoting changes in the way..." that we need to understand mobility and land management."
