Alfonso Rodríguez Sánchez
Without a doubt, the ability that I most value that the School has taught me has been being able to face any type of problem or situation completely independently.
One of the most necessary qualities today in my opinion. In addition to the great prestige that the School holds, mainly in the decision to come to the ETSi to study, the opportunity to participate in the Formula Student project with ARUS Andalucía Racing Team that the School presents, in which I could develop a level beyond academics for my future.
When I arrived at the School in 2016, the first thing I did was the ARUS admissions. After effort and work I managed to enter the project that completely changed my life. I was able to have the opportunity to observe and create everything that is taught at the School and more, in a practical way with the help of all the people who make up the project for more than five years. The project consists of designing, manufacturing and validating each season from scratch a combustion and electric car that will compete in the summer with the rest of the world's universities on the most prestigious Formula 1 circuits around the world.
After passing through ARUS, the doors to the world of work are immense, the team has had people who currently work in Formula 1 (Ferrari, Pirelli, Alpha Tauri, etc.) and high-level companies from any industry, not just automotive.
