These General Conditions regulate the use of the website of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville (ETSi) , which can be accessed through the address: www.etsi.us.es.
The existence of these General Conditions of Use does not exclude the presence of other provisions or conditions of access to the various sections that make up the website of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville .

3. ACCESS AND USE CONDITIONS
Free Access:
Use of the official ETSi is free of charge. However, the contracting of some of the services offered on this website may, currently or in the future, be subject to payment of a fee, in which case this will be duly indicated.
User Registration:
In general, access to and use of this website does not require prior registration.
ETSi databases . In these cases, the personal data provided to the ETSi as a result of using the website will be processed by the ETSi under the terms and conditions specified in clause 7 of these General Terms of Use.
The ETSi does not store passwords or manage users of the University of Seville, as the University of Seville Virtual User (UVUS) is managed by the University of Seville .
The user agrees to use their access credentials (username and password) belonging to the University of Seville in accordance with the following restrictions:
The password chosen by the user may not infringe upon the rights to honor and image of third parties, nor may it in any way infringe upon the industrial and intellectual property rights of third parties.

The University of Seville will not be responsible for any damage that the user or third parties may incur as a result of other people using their password, whether with or without their knowledge.
The University of Seville undertakes not to disclose the password used by the user to any other person, except in the case that, in strict compliance with the relevant judicial requirements or, where appropriate, a legally authorized authority, it is required to do so.

4. INDUSTRIAL AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Industrial Property.
The names "ETSi" and "Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Sevilla" (Higher Technical School of Engineering of Seville), as well as other distinctive signs (graphic or denominative) appearing on this website, are the exclusive property of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville , which has duly registered them. In accordance with Article 34 of Law 17/2001, of December 17, on Trademarks, as well as other applicable national legislation, ownership grants the School the exclusive right to use the aforementioned distinctive signs in commerce. Consequently, their use by unauthorized third parties is prohibited.
The possible presence on this site of distinctive signs belonging to entities other than those mentioned in the preceding paragraph is for non-commercial purposes and with the authorization of their legitimate owners, always respecting their exclusive rights.
Domain Names.
In the same vein as the preceding section, the domain name and all those that provide direct access to this official website are the exclusive property of the University of Seville . Any unauthorized use of these names for commercial purposes would constitute an infringement of the rights conferred by their registration and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

9. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Terms of Use are governed by Spanish law.
Any dispute relating to the website of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville shall be subject to Spanish jurisdiction, and the parties submit to the Courts of the city of Seville, and their higher courts, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
