Road Olympics
ETSi Roads Olympics
The Higher Technical School of Engineering at the University of Seville has participated in the Civil Engineering Olympiad since the 2021/22 academic year. This Olympiad is aimed at 12 teams of 1st and 2nd year ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) students and, unlike other types of competitions, seeks to test the quick thinking and structural intuition of 5 secondary school students working as a team. The tests vary in difficulty, but allow students to practice leadership roles, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and, for example, adapting to limited resources and tools.
These Olympics consist of a Local Phase and a National Phase, which is attended by the winning teams from the local phases.
Information is usually sent to secondary schools in October, with a reminder in January, and one or two teams can be registered by completing a Registration Form digitally.
