University Defender

The Ombudsman's Office is the institutional body of the University of Seville, elected by its Faculty, to ensure respect for the rights and freedoms of all members of the University Community: teaching staff, students, and administration and service personnel, with the purpose of contributing to the improvement of the quality and proper functioning of the University.

Its actions are carried out under the principles of independence, autonomy and confidentiality, and it is not subject to any imperative mandate in the development of its powers.

All university bodies are obliged to collaborate with the University Ombudsman's Office, on a preferential and urgent basis, in the processing of their actions.
