ESIBot

ESIBot - Robotics and Telematics Association

ESIBot is the robotics and telematics association of the ETSi (School of Engineering). We were founded with the aim of bringing engineering closer to practice through projects, technical training, and teamwork.

We believe that the best way to learn is by building. Therefore, we provide a space where students can develop their knowledge in robotics, electronics, programming, automation, embedded systems, 3D printing, and other technological disciplines, regardless of their prior experience.

At ESIBot, we carry out our own projects, organize training workshops, participate in events, and collaborate with companies and institutions to bring our members closer to the professional reality of engineering. Our approach is based on the philosophy of learning by doing: learning through experimentation, solving problems, and facing real-world challenges.

Beyond technology, ESIBot is a community created by and for students eager to create, innovate, and share knowledge. It's a place where ideas can become prototypes, prototypes can become projects, and projects can become experiences that complement academic training.

Whether you're taking your first steps into the world of robotics or looking for an environment to develop more ambitious projects, ESIBot offers you the opportunity to learn, collaborate and grow alongside other students passionate about engineering.

History

The association was founded in 2005, although it had no official activity until 2009, making it older than some of its members...

We have around 1,000 followers across all our social media platforms and over 200 members, so what are you waiting for? Join us and become part of the ESIBot family!

Activities

Everything we do is part of the same idea: that you leave here having done something real.

  * Workshops and courses — Programming, electronics, robotics, PCB design, 3D printing, embedded systems... If you want to learn something that's not on the list, suggest it.

  * Collaborative projects — Mobile robots, robotic arms, telematics systems, and much more. You can join an existing project or propose your own.

  * Visits and excursions — Companies in the sector, technology centers and congresses to see firsthand how engineering is applied outside the classroom.

Services

We offer these services to help you complete your projects. If you undertake an ESIBot project, all services are free:

  * 3D Printing — We bring your design to life. Paid service with fixed and transparent prices for the entire US university community.

  * Workshop and tools — Soldering irons, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power tools, and much more. Available for college and personal projects.

  * Consulting — Do you have a project stuck? At ESIBot we can advise you on the steps you can take, the best tools and new technologies that can help you move any project forward.

  * Keychains and printed items — Our own designs related to ETSI, the degree programs, and ESIBot. You'll find them in our workshop.

Where are we?

You can find us in the associations' classroom, going down through door 6 (SW corner), the door on the right. Don't hesitate to ring the bell! It's quite common here at ETSI. You can also ask us on our social media if we're available there; you can find our links here:
