SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF BEER MAKING (II EDITION)
This course has a precedent in the Expert Diploma modality (Expert Diploma in Science and Technology of Brewing) of which the VII Edition was carried out in 2022/23. The second edition is currently offered as a Continuing Training course. The main objective of the course is to show a global vision of the beer-making process, through the direct transfer of knowledge, and spaces for reflection and debate. The specific objectives are: (i) Address the beer brewing process from both a scientific and technological point of view. (ii) Show in a practical way the steps necessary for the manufacture and packaging of beer in a real plant. (iii) Present real problems of the beer industry and their possible solutions.

Seville Forum on Machinery for Decarbonization
The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville organizes the Seville Forum on Machinery for Decarbonization, in collaboration with international technology providers. It is an event aimed at industry, technology centers and administrations with the main objective of developing technologies for the production and storage of electrical and thermal energy efficiently and without a carbon footprint. The conference provides a forum for exchanging information and experiences with technology developers and providers, users, and the administration, where they can discuss the state of the art of decarbonization solutions in the market and the needs of the sectors involved in the short and long term. , identify technological and research needs, and coordinate the development of new pre-competitive R&D activities and demonstrators of low carbon footprint solutions for the industry and the electricity sector. Open forums will also be enabled to collect contributions from attendees, which will later be used to plan future actions. Leonardo Scholarships - BBVA Foundation
The extraordinary call for the Leonardo Scholarships for Scientific Research and Cultural Creation 2024 of the BBVA Foundation, limited to the areas of Physics and Chemistry and Engineering, is intended to support the development of personal and innovative projects of researchers in an intermediate stage of their career , residing in Spain and between 30 and 45 years old (both inclusive) at the time of application. The projects will have a minimum duration of 12 months and a maximum of 18 months. UNIVERSITY INTERNSHIP IN RURAL ENVIRONMENTS FOR THE 2024-25 COURSE [RETIRED]
The University of Seville has opened a call for internships in rural areas financed by the Provincial Council of Seville. The internship lasts 3 months to be carried out between January 1 and April 25, 2025 in Sevillian towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants, or between 5,000 and 15,000 if they have suffered depopulation in the last 10 years. The deadline for companies to submit offers ends on December 5 and students can register until December 9, 2024.

COITTA/AAGIT opens the call for the Ingenio Junior 2024 Awards for another year, aimed at recent graduates in Telecommunications Engineering in Andalusia who have obtained their Bachelor's degree in the period between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024.

“New Sevillian Engineering” series of talks: Telecommunications Engineering. Organized by the Open Seville Initiative, ISA, with the collaboration of the MAS Foundation and the Higher Engineering Association of Andalusia (ASIAN). Session dedicated to Telecommunications Engineering, will feature d. Manuel Ortigosa, Dean of the Official College of Telecommunications Engineers of Western Andalusia and Ceuta; Ms. Susana Carrasco, CEO and founder of Iopark; d. Guillermo Pérez, Co-founder and CEO of 4i.ai; d. José González, Co-Founder and CEO of Galgus; d. Carlos Gómez, moderator of the event.
The session is on Monday, December 2, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the headquarters of the MAS Foundation, c/Torneo, 76, Seville. Attendance is free until capacity is reached. The sessions are based on the intervention of professionals representing reference engineering, moderated by an ISA member, followed by a discussion with the attendees.

Announcement of memorial and tribute act to Luis Salvador
Next November 26, in the School's Graduate Hall, at 7:00 p.m., an event will take place in Remembrance and Tribute to Luis Salvador Martínez, who was Director of the ETSi and the Department of Chemical Engineering, died during the pandemic. At the end of the event, a plaque will be unveiled in his memory.

VII Call for Impulsa Visión RTVE
Research Aid for Official Master's Final Projects. This is an initiative aimed at recognizing and promoting the talent of those university students who carry out their postgraduate studies by pursuing an official master's degree related to aspects of innovation or digital transformation in those activities that RTVE has entrusted as a Public Service. Likewise, Impulsa Visión Research Aid wants to recognize the work of the university as a fundamental element in the development of the audiovisual sector and its essential role in the future of the media.
