ETSi-EMPRENDE PROGRAM
ETSi-EMPRENDE PROGRAM
What is ETSI Emprende?
ETSI Emprende is the entrepreneurship program of the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSI) at the University of Seville. Its objective is to help students transform a STEM idea into a project with a business model, initial validations, and a pitch ready to present to a jury.
The program connects students with the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Seville (incubators, competitions, mentors, EBC programs, etc.) and culminates in the 2nd ETSI Entrepreneurship Competition, with a public defense of the projects.
What will you learn?
Upon completion of the program, you will be able to:
- Moving from initial idea to structured business model (Canvas, value proposition, customers, channels, revenues and costs).
- Perform an initial market validation (segmentation, interviews, surveys, simple tests).
- Develop a basic strategic plan and a 3-6 month roadmap.
- To understand the main funding routes and resources in the environment.
- Prepare and defend a professional pitch before a jury using: One-pager / executive summary and executive presentation.
In addition, it introduces how to start a business from the ETSI through Knowledge-Based Companies (KBC).
