The 21st Century
We left the 1990s behind and entered the 21st century with force. Having overcome the Y2K bug, we faced new challenges. The organization consolidated, and the Operations Management Center was created. Network control and monitoring systems increasingly facilitated and ensured service with greater reliability. Changes occurred at an ever-increasing pace, and the Customer Service Center was established to handle inquiries and requests from any Endesa customer. The wireless era took hold: Wi-Fi systems, digital phones, PDAs, XDAs, voice and data on a single device. Medium Voltage remote control, TRAMEs (Remote Monitoring and Control Systems), and mobile offices were implemented.
