  1. IDU unit belonging to a Philips MDI microwave equipment in the 15 GHz band, responsible for interconnecting the backbone network and office in 2 Mb/s frames
  2. Digital distributor for distributing 2 Mb/s tributaries
  3. Newbridge Node 3612, linked via V35 interface (using Siemens DAG64 converter)
  4. Alcatel A12 telephone exchange. In this specific case, the exchange connects to the multiplexer. Other models connect via a 2 Mbps frame. A QDF pair terminal block connects the user terminals
  5. First level local multiplex. Model MX''M from the EyP firm
