Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition
ETSi-EMPRENDE COMPETITION
The ETSi Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition , now in its second edition, is a strategic initiative designed to foster creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial culture among engineering students. This competition aims to be a platform where future engineers can develop their ideas, acquire entrepreneurial skills, and actively contribute to the business community with innovative technological solutions.
Following the example of the best international universities, where entrepreneurship is an essential component of engineering education, this competition promotes innovation and technological development as fundamental pillars for professional and business success.
This competition is developed in parallel and following the same methodological approach as the Ideas Competition of the University of Seville [Link to the US website], with the aim that all initiatives are presented in both competitions and that participation in other entrepreneurial events that may be carried out in different universities and areas is encouraged.
Who is it aimed at?
This call is open to undergraduate, master's or doctoral students of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of Seville.
How can I participate?
The competition is structured around an annual final, in order to gather the largest number of student initiatives.
You can participate in the competition either individually or collectively (as a team), by presenting an entrepreneurial project with potential for development in the medium term.
Proposals from teams that are already operating in the market (billing) will not be accepted, regardless of whether the project is established under a commercial form.
The ideas presented must be linked to some academic activity of the team (degree, training, final projects, lines of research, etc.).
What are the prizes?
The prize will consist of recognition from the ETSi. In addition, the ETSi will promote, to the best of its ability, the participation of the winning team members in events, courses, or seminars that add value to their entrepreneurial training.
How does the competition work?
It consists of two phases:
Phase I. Team registration and document submission.
This first phase is open from December 1, 2025 to April 6, 2026
During the scheduled dates, teams can register and submit documentation by sending all documents to relemp-etsi@us.es , indicating in the email subject: Full name of entrepreneurial idea - II ETSi-Emprende Competition

Phase II. Final
The teams will present their projects to the jury in a pitch session. Each team will then present their entrepreneurial project. The jury, appointed by the ETSi Directorate, will evaluate the initiatives based solely on the following criteria and content:
