Chair of Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL)

The Chair of Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL Chair), established at the University of Seville with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia, aims to promote teaching, research and dissemination activities that study the reality, problems and perspectives of the development of young university students in the field of occupational risk prevention in general, taking care of developing training programs and research tasks that contribute to improving training in these matters among students and graduates of the University of Seville.

The Occupational Risk Prevention Chair at the University of Seville will program the following to achieve its objectives:

  • The performance of R&D activities.
  • The provision of postgraduate and specialization courses for students and professionals.
  • The development of promotional, informational, research, and training activities.
  • The organization of forums for meetings between academics, businesspeople, students and/or any other people or entities directly or indirectly related to the prevention of occupational risks.
  • The completion of final degree projects and final master's theses.
  • The awarding of scholarships and prizes.

This website, presented here, aims to be the primary tool of the Occupational Risk Prevention Chair at the University of Seville for disseminating knowledge and publicizing the main activities carried out in the field of occupational risk prevention. To this end, this website will provide information on the Chair's main activities; make documentation available to users; report on key events related to worker safety and health at the local, Andalusian, national, and international levels; and provide links to other resources related to occupational risk prevention.

We hope that this portal of the Chair of Occupational Risk Prevention at the University of Seville will contribute to promoting and guaranteeing the safety and health of workers through its research and teaching activities.
