Entrepreneurial spirit in a Higher Technical School of Engineering

Entrepreneurship is now a fundamental pillar in the training of future engineers. In a constantly evolving technological environment, the ability to identify opportunities, transform ideas into real solutions, and lead innovative projects has become a key competency for driving social and economic progress. Therefore, the ETSi is firmly committed to integrating entrepreneurship as a natural part of its students' academic and professional development.

Our commitment is to offer students an environment that fosters creativity, personal initiative, and critical thinking, exposing them to current industry challenges and providing them with the tools to transform their proposals into viable projects. To this end, the center promotes two main lines of activity:

• Entrepreneurship training course “ ETSi-EMPRENDE Program ”: A program designed to equip students with practical knowledge of innovation, business models, project management, communication, and idea validation. Through participatory methodologies, students acquire the necessary foundation to launch businesses with confidence and a strategic vision.
• Entrepreneurial Ideas Competition : An initiative that invites students to present their most innovative proposals and develop creative solutions to real-world problems. This competition not only fosters teamwork and disruptive thinking, but also allows participants to receive mentoring, visibility, and the opportunity to advance their projects to more advanced stages.

With these actions, our School reinforces its commitment to a comprehensive education that not only provides technical training, but also inspires future engineers to lead change, undertake purposeful ventures, and actively contribute to building a more sustainable and innovative future.
