The Seville Electricity Company began to illuminate every single Andalusian home while simultaneously powering the transformers of the numerous factories springing up everywhere. These were the 1960s, years of significant technological advances in energy production and telecommunications.
Carrier wave equipment, blocking coils, capacitors, and coupling boxes were installed. It was the era of manual switchboards, La, Lb, and Lc wires, and above all, a time when human interaction was paramount. The technician of those years was a specialist intimately familiar with circuits, cathode rays, ohms, inductances, electrons, and farads.
At that time, the headquarters were located on the central Alfonso XII street, although they soon became too small due to the company's growth, so a new, functional, and modern building was prepared to house the more than 600 employees who made up the staff at that time. But that's another story .
