chairs means to promote relationships between companies and the cutting edge of research and knowledge generated at the University. At the same time, they contribute to the training of future professionals in the areas of work and research of interest to the chair.
As an instrument to revitalize and encourage the relationship between the university and society through the productive sector, business chairs guarantee the transfer of knowledge through innovation and research.
The University of Seville has made a great effort, together with the Social Council, to promote this avenue of collaboration. To this end, it has been in charge of promoting collaboration and sponsorship agreements with companies and other institutions aimed at the establishment and financing of chairs related to all areas of knowledge.
