Director of the Higher Technical School of Engineering
With this message I want to welcome you to the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville , which is a university center of reference in research and higher education in the field of engineering.
The objective of the ETSi is to carry out the social function entrusted to it by Society, which consists of the training of Engineering professionals, the transmission of knowledge, research, development, innovation and the transfer of technology to our environment, in order to contribute to the growth, revitalization and improvement of the quality of life of citizens.
To this end, the ETSi offers eight undergraduate degrees , eleven master's degrees , and four doctoral programs in the areas of industrial engineering, telecommunications engineering, aeronautical engineering, civil engineering, and chemical engineering, as well as various specializations within these fields. Throughout its history, more than 17,000 graduates have entered the workforce. Currently, the ETSi university community comprises more than 5,600 students, over 500 professors and researchers, and nearly one hundred administrative and support staff.
The ETSi is very well positioned in international rankings, among which the Shanghai ranking , where four disciplines of the School occupy the top positions in Spain and among the 300 best worldwide.
From here I want to thank all the staff and students of the ETSi for their dedication, work and effort, which make it possible for us to continue advancing and improving in the achievement of our objectives, as well as allowing us to continue maintaining and increasing the prestige of this Center within the national and international community.
