Director of the Higher Technical School of Engineering
With this message I want to welcome you to the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSi) of the University of Seville , which is a university center of reference in research and higher education in the field of engineering.
The objective of the ETSi is to carry out the social function entrusted to it by the Society, which consists of the training of engineering professionals, the transmission of knowledge, research, development, innovation and technology transfer to our society. environment, in order to contribute to growth, dynamization and improvement of the quality of life of citizens.
To this end, ETSi offers 8 Bachelor's degrees , 11 Master's degrees , and 4 Doctorate Programs in the areas of: industrial engineering; Telecommunication engineering; aeronautical engineering; Port, Canals and Road Engineering; and chemical engineering; as well as in various branches of specialization within these engineering fields. Throughout its history, more than 17,000 graduates have entered the labor market from its classrooms. Currently, the ETSi has more than 5,600 students, more than 500 professors and researchers, and almost a hundred service administration personnel.
The ETSi is very well positioned in international rankings, among which the Shanghai ranking , where four disciplines of the School occupy the first positions in Spain and among the 300 best worldwide.
From here I want to thank all the staff and students of the ETSi for their dedication, work and effort, which make it possible for us to continue advancing and improving in achieving our objectives, as well as allowing us to continue maintaining and increasing the prestige of this Center within the national and international concert.
