Cepsa Energy Chair

This Chair was born in 2010 with the main objective of promoting training activities and interdisciplinary research, focused mainly on the study of the production and use processes of fuels, as well as petroleum products and their derivatives, without forgetting the improvement of quality. environmental.
 

For its organization, it has specialized human potential, formed by the collaboration between the teaching staff of the Higher Technical School of the University of Seville (ETSi) and the technical staff of Cepsa's production centers. Its director is Benito Navarrete, professor of the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the ETSi.

Fundamental Activities of the Cepsa Chair

Among the most important activities of this Chair are: 

  • Scholarships and aid for internships for students of the School in Cepsa production centers

  • Recognitions for Final Degree Projects (TFG) or Final Master's Projects (TFM)

  • Courses, seminars and conferences

  • Research work, either in Doctoral Theses or Research Groups

  • Collaborations of ETSi professors with the departments of the Cepsa industrial centers in Andalusia
