Moeve Energy Chair

This Chair was established in 2010 with the main objective of promoting training activities and interdisciplinary research, focused primarily on the study of the production and use processes of fuels, as well as petroleum products and their derivatives, without forgetting the improvement of environmental quality.
 

Its organization relies on specialized human resources, developed through collaboration between the teaching staff of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville (ETSi) and the technical teams at Moeve's production centers. Its director is Benito Navarrete, a professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at ETSi.

Fundamental Activities of the Moeve Chair

Among the most important activities of this Chair are: 

  • Scholarships and grants for student internships at the School in Moeve production centers

  • Recognition of Bachelor's Thesis Projects (TFG) or Master's Thesis Projects (TFM)

  • Courses, seminars and conferences

  • Research work, either in Doctoral Theses or Research Groups

  • Collaborations of ETSi professors with the departments of Cepsa's industrial centers in Andalusia
