AIRBUS GROUP Aerospace Chair

The Airbus Group Chair of Aeronautical Studies of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville (ETSi) was created with the objective of promoting the collaboration of both entities, Airbus Group and the University of Seville, both in the training of Engineers and in scientific and technological dissemination in the area of ​​interest of the company and in the development of engineering projects of common interest.

The AIRBUS GROUP Chair is the window that channels the collaboration between AIRBUS and the University of Seville, fundamentally in the areas of training and scientific and technological dissemination.

Specifically, it offers free training courses for engineering students and professionals in the aeronautical sector on highly specialized topics in the aeronautical industry and programs conference cycles and round tables by renowned professionals. It also supports the development of student and researcher initiatives through support for conferences and research stays abroad, rewards excellence in work carried out in the field of aeronautical engineering and publishes publications in this area.
The Directorate of the Chair is carried out by Federico París Carballo, professor in the area of ​​Continuous Media Mechanics at the University of Seville and director of the GERM, and the Secretariat is carried out by Elena Correa Montoto, professor at the GERM.
