School Board

The School Board is the collegiate governing body of the Center. Its functions include:

  • To elect and remove the Director.
  • To develop the curriculum plans for the different degrees offered at the
  • Center, as well as proposals for their modification.
  • Approve annually the draft teaching organization plan within the framework of each study plan;
  • To approve for each academic year, with prior agreement between the Management and the
    Student Delegation, the schedule of exams and those evaluation tests that are
    established by regulation.
  • To propose, after receiving a report from the affected Departments, the assignment of
    official qualifications, as well as the creation of degrees and diplomas, the conditions for obtaining them and the corresponding study plan.
  • Report on the needs of teaching staff, in accordance with the teaching organization plans of the Center, and on the proposals for the allocation of positions of the Departments with teaching at the Center.
  • Formulate the Center's needs regarding the administrative and service staff.
  • Formalize collaboration agreements with public or private entities.
  • Approve the distribution of budgetary funds allocated to the Center.
  • To propose the awarding of prizes and distinctions.
