Specialty in Materials Engineering and Strength
This specialty focuses on the design, selection and processing of engineering materials, both traditional and advanced, including metal, ceramic, polymer and compound materials.
The characterization of their physical, mechanical and resistant properties is studied, as well as the calculation methods for the design and analysis of failures within the scope of mechanical engineering: industrial structures and components, vehicles, etc.
This training provides the student with the necessary knowledge to propose effective solutions to the industrial needs that arise in his working life in this area.
In the 2025/26 course, the subjects of the first course will be offered and in 2026/27 those of the second year. These subjects are taken together with the degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering ( GITI-2010 ). The following table shows the correspondence between the subjects of the specialty and those of the Giti-2010.
