Specialty in Energy

This specialization provides advanced training in the design, analysis, and optimization of energy systems. Its approach combines efficiency, the use of renewable energy, sustainability, and industrial application, addressing the challenges of the energy transition and the need for innovative solutions for the rational use of resources.

The curriculum covers everything from energy efficiency and thermoeconomic analysis to the development and optimization of heat, cooling, and electricity generation technologies. It delves into the design and operation of both conventional and innovative solutions, such as advanced thermal machines, the use of renewable resources, and cutting-edge strategies like the hybridization of thermal engines and thermal energy storage.

In addition, solutions for industry and building are being studied, addressing the operation and optimization of thermal processes, the improvement of facilities and the development of energy-efficient and sustainable environments.

Thanks to this training, graduates will be prepared to develop and manage advanced energy systems in different sectors, leading the implementation of more efficient and sustainable technologies.
