Specialty in Energy
This specialty provides advanced training in the design, analysis and optimization of energy systems. Its approach combines efficiency, use of renewable energy, sustainability and industrial application, responding to the challenges of energy transition and the need for innovative solutions for rational use of resources.
The curriculum covers from energy efficiency and thermeconomic analysis to the development and optimization of heat, cold and electricity generation technologies. The design and operation of conventional and innovative solutions, such as advanced thermal machines, use of renewable resources and state -of -the -art strategies, such as thermal motors or thermal storage.
In addition, solutions for industry and building are studied, addressing the operation and optimization of thermal processes, the improvement of facilities and the development of energy and sustainable environments.
Thanks to this training, graduates will be prepared to develop and manage advanced energy systems in different sectors, leading the implementation of more efficient and sustainable technologies.
In the 2025/26 course, the subjects of the first course will be offered and in 2026/27 those of the second year. These subjects are taken together with the degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering ( GITI-201 0). The following table shows the correspondence between the subjects of the specialty and those of the Giti-2010.
