Termination process of the Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering (2010 plan)
Starting in the 2024/25 academic year, the implementation of the 2024 plan for the Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering taught at the ETSi begins. Below is the expiration schedule for the 2010 plan.
academic year 2024/25 ( see enrollment guide ):
It is implemented (plan 2024) | It is extinguished (2010 plan) |
First GITI | First GITI |
Second GITI | Second GITI |
Third GITI | Third GITI (except subjects corresponding to the specific mention that do not have an equivalent in the new plan) |
academic year 2025/26:
It is implemented (plan 2024) | It is extinguished (2010 plan) |
- | Third GITI (subjects corresponding to the specific mention that do not have an equivalent in the new plan) |
GITI Room | Fourth GITI (except subjects corresponding to the specific mention that do not have an equivalent in the new plan) |
academic year 2026/27:
It is implemented (plan 2024) | It is extinguished (2010 plan) |

|
The last course in which enrollment in subjects from the 2010 plan (including the TFG) can be formalized will be the 2027/28 course.
Study plan for the Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering (2010 plan, in extinction)
The Industrial Technology Engineering Degree (2010 plan) taught at the ETSi has nine mentions (also known as intensifications or specialties):
1. Mechanics - Machines
2. Mechanics - Construction
3. Materials
4. Industrial Chemistry
5. Energy
6. Electrical
7. Electronics
8. Automatic
9. Organization and production
The name of the mention is specifically indicated in the student's academic record, as well as in the European Diploma Supplement (SET).
When it comes to self-registration, the computer system presents all the optional subjects, whether or not they are of the intensification chosen by the student. Therefore, it is the student's responsibility to make a correct choice of them.
In particular, it is a necessary condition to obtain the graduate title under the 2010 plan to have completed one of the mentions for all those students who in the 2012/2013 academic year were not enrolled in the third year. Therefore, if by mistake or by their own decision a student completes the 240 credits by mixing subjects from different mentions, at the end of these credits they will not be able to obtain the degree and must take additional subjects until completing one of the mentions.
Students who come from the Industrial Engineering curriculum (now extinct), or who in the 2012/2013 academic year were already in 3rd or 4th year, are exempt from this obligation. For them, a mention "without mention" is defined. At the end of this guide, the requirements that all students must follow are specified, including students who can "mix" mentions.
Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you read the following guide carefully before self-enrolling in third or fourth year subjects.

The following table shows the general structure of the studies. In it you can see four types of color-coded subjects:
The subjects indicated in aqua green background in the table (identified with the specific name of each subject) are basic training subjects that all students must take.
The subjects indicated in sienna background in the table (identified with the specific name of each subject) are mandatory subjects that all students must take.
The subjects indicated in a light yellow background (Intensification) are the subjects of each mention .
Once an intensification has been chosen, the subjects are unique so they can be considered “mandatory mentions”. These subjects are listed on the following pages for each of the intensifications. Some of these subjects are common to several mentions. · The subject indicated in a grayish blue background (Elective mention) is a 4.5 credit subject for which each student can choose between an offer that depends on the chosen intensification. In some intensifications, electives are not offered, so this subject is replaced by a mandatory intensification subject. In others, the offer has been reduced over the years, leaving only one subject in this category, which becomes de facto a mandatory mention.Subjects marked in a bright yellow background ( Common electives ): the student can take one or more of the following options regardless of the chosen intensification (9 credits in total):
Common electives to the Center or specific common electives.
Business practice. 9 ECTS credits can be taken as a subject. The student must ensure that they have been assigned a company before enrolling. To do this, you must contact the ETSi external relations service .
Non-taught subject “English in Engineering”: recognition of 4.5 credits to the student who requests it and accredits a level equivalent to B2 in English.
Academic recognition for extra-university activities (cultural, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation) up to a maximum of 6 credits in accordance with university regulations. Download pdf
Excess credits not recognized in other subjects for those students from the extinct Industrial Engineering degree at the University of Seville (plan 98).
The Final Degree Project corresponds to 12 credits.
It can only be presented and evaluated once the student has passed at least 70% of the total credits of the degree. It is also remembered that the level of linguistic skills required to obtain this degree is B1 in English , other languages not being valid.
