Degree in Chemical Engineering

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (GIQ)

Presentation and guide of the degree on the website of the University of Seville.

The Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is the first stage in the training of Chemical Engineering professionals (Academic Program with Successive Tracks in Chemical Engineering: PARS in Chemical Engineering ). This PARS trains graduates who are capable of designing, calculating, constructing, commissioning, and managing equipment and facilities in the chemical industry and, in general, in industries where processes take place in which matter undergoes changes in its composition, state, or energy content.

This degree qualifies you to practice as an industrial engineering technician. You will be able to work in manufacturing as well as in consulting and design firms in the field of chemical engineering, attain positions of responsibility in production, quality, and environmental departments, manage the operation of facilities related to industrial chemistry, practice independently, pursue careers in public administration, teaching, and more.

Chemical Engineering is the branch of Engineering related to the processes in which raw materials undergo a change in composition, energy content or physical state, with the means for processing, with the resulting products and with their application to the achievement of useful objectives.

The Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering grants preferential access to the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, which completes your training as a Chemical Engineer (the Master's degree qualifies you to practice as a Chemical Engineer ). The Bachelor's Degree also grants access to the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, which qualifies you to practice as an Industrial Engineer.

There are also several specialist master's degrees at the ETSi to which there is preferential access from the degree in Chemical Engineering: University Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering and University Master's Degree in Industrial Organization and Business Management ; in addition, you can access the rest of the Master's degrees offered by the University of Seville according to their admission rules.

After completing a master's degree, you can also pursue a doctoral thesis, entering the world of high-level research.

The Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Seville has the European international quality seal in engineering EUR-ACE which certifies that it meets the professional requirements of engineering in an excellent way.
