Study plan for the Degree in Electronic, Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering

The Degree in Electronic, Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering taught at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville within the Andalucía Tech Campus of

Tech has four mentions (also known as intensifications or specialties):

The degree is taught jointly between the Universities of Seville and Malaga. The degree may be started at either of the two universities and students will have the option of studying the last two years at the university where they started or at the other, depending on the desired major.

The name of the mention is specifically indicated in the student's graduate degree.

At the time of self-registration, the computer system presents all the optional subjects, whether or not they belong to the major chosen by the student. Therefore, it is the student's responsibility to make a correct choice of them.

In particular, it is a necessary condition to obtain the graduate degree to have completed one of the mentions. Therefore, if by mistake or by design a student completes the 240 credits by mixing subjects from different mentions, upon completion of these credits they will not be able to obtain the degree and must take additional subjects until completing one of the mentions.

Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you read the following guide carefully before self-enrolling in fourth-year subjects.

The following table shows the general structure of the studies. In it you can see five types of color-coded subjects:

  • The subjects indicated in aqua green background in the table (identified with the specific name of each subject) are basic training subjects that all students must take.

  • The subjects indicated in sienna background in the table (identified with the specific name of each subject) are mandatory subjects that all students must take.

  • The subjects indicated in a light yellow background (Specific Technology) are the subjects of each mention. Once a mention has been chosen, the subjects are unique so they can be considered “mandatory mentions” .
In the following sections these subjects are listed for each of the mentions.

  • In the second semester of the fourth year, in addition to the Final Degree Project, 18 credits must be taken to choose from the following options:
