The Spanish capital has hosted an important meeting of the Red Time (Top Industrial Managers For Europe), which has brought together representatives of European universities, double degree students (Double Degree) and outstanding international companies such as Airbus, Alten, Amadeus, Capgemini, L'Oréal, Saint-Gobain, among others.
Among the attendees, the Deputy Director of International Relations of the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSI) of the University of Seville, Juan José Murillo Fuentes , who has reinforced the commitment of the Hispanic institution with the formation of highly qualified engineers and prepared to lead the global technological transformation.
The Time Network, which every year enables more than 800 students in double degree programs, aims to train engineers with a solid scientific base and a marked cultural agility, capable of working in different languages, countries and business contexts. This profile is increasingly necessary in a world where engineering promotes decisive changes in fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cybersecurity, robotics and biotechnology.
The event in Madrid has served as a platform for dialogue between the academic community and the business fabric, underlining the importance of international cooperation in higher education and the added value provided by engineers formed in multicultural environments.
