Double Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering (MII) and Industrial Organization and Business Management (MOIGE)

Presentation and Guide to the Degree on the website of the University of Seville.

A curriculum is proposed for jointly pursuing the Master's Degrees in Industrial Engineering (MII) and in Industrial Organization and Business Management (MOIGE), based on the complementarity between the two degrees. This double degree program is designed for students with a background in Industrial Engineering in any of its specializations, totaling 142 credits, although additional coursework may be required for certain students. The combination of these two degrees provides students with a solid scientific foundation, as well as a broad range of knowledge across various industrial technologies. Furthermore, this degree equips students to apply scientific and technical knowledge in research, development, innovation, and management within multidisciplinary environments; to generate and transfer technical knowledge; and to formulate, design, develop, manage, and lead complex projects. This comprehensive combination trains future multidisciplinary professionals capable of working in multiple fields.

The Master's Degree in Industrial Organization and Business Management from the University of Seville is a specialized, on-campus Master's program designed to qualify students to address the integrated organization of production and logistics systems through the use of advanced decision-making techniques.

Current legislation considers the profession of Industrial Engineer a regulated profession, the practice of which requires possession of the corresponding official Master's degree. The Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering includes all the necessary competencies to acquire the professional responsibilities of the regulated profession of Industrial Engineer, complying with all the provisions of Ministerial Order CIN/311/2009 (Official State Gazette of February 18, 2009), which establishes the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that qualify for the practice of the profession of Industrial Engineer.
