Specialization in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing

Mechanical engineering is one of the fundamental pillars of the consumer goods industry and the manufacture of capital goods. Its purpose encompasses the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems essential for daily life and the production of innovative products.

In recent decades, this field has experienced remarkable progress thanks to the incorporation of new technologies, allowing the exploration of new horizons and the design, manufacture and maintenance of equipment and systems with superior capabilities and greater efficiency.

The specialization in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing, within the framework of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, aims to train highly specialized professionals in this area. In line with current demands in the industrial sector, the master's program equips students to carry out research, development, and innovation work in the design and implementation of products and manufacturing processes within the field of mechanical engineering.

The training program provides the knowledge and tools necessary to design, plan, calculate, and manufacture mechanical systems, products, processes, facilities, and industrial plants. This is achieved through advanced techniques for analyzing, experimenting with, and designing mechanical systems, as well as confidently and safely solving mechanical problems.
