Specialization in Supply Chain Organization and Management

This specialization provides advanced training in optimizing supply chain processes, from raw material acquisition to final product delivery to the customer. Industrial Engineers specializing in this field ensure that products arrive on time, with the appropriate quality, and at a cost-effective price, maximizing value for both the company and the customer. Their responsibilities include, among others: supply chain design and planning, inventory management, logistics optimization, supplier management, cost analysis, demand planning, risk management, continuous improvement, and sustainability.

To this end, the curriculum has been designed so that the first year includes training in quantitative optimization tools and in the management of supply and production systems. In the second year, the training focuses on various functions associated with the area of ​​operations management, such as asset management, the supply chain, and distribution networks.

With training in this specialty, graduates will be able to manage the supply chain in companies in different sectors, applying efficient methods in its design and organization.
