Teaching planning
Please refer to the Enrollment Guide for the 2024/25 academic year. This master's program is being phased out.
The Master's degree is structured as a 120 ECTS qualification (two academic years) with the following time distribution:

To ensure a homogeneous educational profile for graduates of this Master's program, it may be necessary to direct enrollment for graduates in Industrial Technology Engineering from other universities or holders of Bachelor's degrees that qualify them to practice as Industrial Technical Engineers to a portion of the general elective courses. This aims to ensure that all graduates have a common profile, regardless of their chosen specialization. Thus, pathways will be established within the general electives, based on the student's undergraduate degree, always comparing the academic record of students from the various degrees that grant access to the Master's program with the comprehensive training and educational objectives of the combined undergraduate degree and the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering. Furthermore, the Master's Academic Committee may establish supplementary training for those admitted with a different undergraduate degree that does not meet the requirements of Ministerial Order CIN/311/2009.
You can find more information about the compulsory subject pathways, the English pathway, and the leveling supplements at the following link. (updated 2023/24)

In addition to electives specific to the Master's program, students can also take up to 30 credits in other specialized Master's programs at the ETSI within the field of Industrial Engineering. The course offerings for this academic year can be found at this link.
Work placements are also offered as optional courses. These can be taken as 5, 10, or 15 ECTS credit courses. Students must ensure they have been assigned a company before enrolling. To do so, they should contact the ETSi's international relations office.
