Access: As access requirements, it will be necessary to meet both the access requirements for the MII and those corresponding to the MIAMB, with the respective Academic Committees retaining the powers over the evaluation of candidates and establishment of supplementary training and leveling subjects referred to in the verification reports, with the exception of the subjects specified in point 3d of this section, which will be considered as supplementary training for the double Master's degree
Recommended Profile:
The dual degree program is designed for students with prior undergraduate degrees in Industrial Technology Engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering, and Advanced Chemical Engineering.
Students beginning this program should possess the following skills:
- Personal Characteristics: Students with intellectual curiosity who are driven to develop the necessary skills and wish to delve deeper into the field of industrial engineering. Candidates should have a critical attitude and analytical skills; planning, organizational, and teamwork abilities; motivation for self-directed learning in the field of technical studies; and an interest in pursuing a professional career in the industrial sector.
- Academic Characteristics: Given the advanced teaching involved in this Master's program, it is necessary that the student has acquired a solid background in both basic sciences, mainly Mathematics and Physics, and industrial technologies (Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics and Automation, and Industrial Chemistry and Environment).
Admission implies the student's acceptance that the Academic Committee will oversee the terms of their enrollment to ensure consistency between the student's prior education, the chosen subjects within the Master's program, and the sequence of study. Approval by the Academic Committee of the course selections chosen by each student is a prerequisite for formalizing enrollment. The Master's Academic Committee will appoint one or more advisors responsible for this task. If a student disagrees with the advisors' recommendations, they may appeal to the Master's Academic Committee and the Director of the Center, with the latter making the final decision.
