Admission: Applicants must meet the admission requirements for both the MII and MIQ programs. The Joint Academic Committee will be responsible for evaluating candidates and establishing supplementary training and leveling courses, as outlined in the verification reports. The MII leveling courses will be considered supplementary training for the dual Master's degree. That is, while they are included within the 120 credits of the MII degree, they will be taken in addition to the 153.5 credits of the dual Master's program. In particular, preferential admission to this Dual Master's program (high preference) will be given to students with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as students with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Engineering specializing in Chemistry-Environment or Energy.

Recommended Profile:

The dual degree program is designed for students with prior undergraduate training in Chemical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technologies with some specialization in Chemical Engineering. Therefore, students beginning this program should possess the following qualifications:
The Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Seville is the official university degree used as a reference for the design of the Master's program in Chemical Engineering curriculum. Consequently, it is considered the reference degree for the Master's program, and its graduates have direct access to the Master's program in Chemical Engineering at the University of Seville without additional coursework.
Notwithstanding the above, the specific conditions for admission to this master's degree are described and set out in the Resolution of June 8, 2009, of the General Secretariat of Universities, which publicizes the Agreement of the Council of Universities, which establishes recommendations for the proposal by universities of application reports for official degrees in the fields of Computer Engineering, Technical Computer Engineering and Chemical Engineering, and are as follows:

Access to the Master's degree linked to the practice of the profession of Chemical Engineer will be granted to those who have previously acquired the skills set out in section 3 of the Ministerial Order establishing the requirements for the verification of official university degrees linked to the practice of the profession of Industrial Technical Engineer, and whose training is in accordance with that established in section 5 of the aforementioned order, all of which refers to the module of Specific Technology of Industrial Chemistry.
Admission to the Master's program will also be granted when the applicant's undergraduate degree covers the competencies outlined in the basic and common training modules for the industrial branch, as specified in section 5 of the Ministerial Order establishing the requirements for the verification of official university degrees related to the practice of the profession of Industrial Technical Engineer. In this case, the necessary supplementary courses must be completed to guarantee the competencies covered in the industrial chemistry section of the aforementioned order.
Likewise, those who hold any other undergraduate degree may access this Master's program, without prejudice to the establishment of any additional prior training deemed necessary in this case.

The preceding sections shall be understood without prejudice to the provisions of Article 17.2 and the Fourth Additional Provision of Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29. Regarding the recommended entry profile for the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, the recommended entry profile for this Master's program is that of a graduate in Industrial Technology Engineering from the University of Seville, an official university degree that has been used as a reference for the design of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering curriculum, without prejudice to the possibility of admission for graduates of other degrees with the qualifications of Industrial Technical Engineer. The reference degree provides its graduates with the scientific foundation that allows them to develop and apply their knowledge in the industrial and business sectors in the areas of electricity, electronics, metallurgy, chemistry, energy, textiles, industrial organization, and robotics. These are graduates with a generalist background in various industrial technologies, a strong foundation in basic sciences, and a broad understanding of industrial engineering. They must meet the admission requirements for the Master's program, as stipulated in Order CIN/311/2009, which establishes the requirements for verifying official university degrees that qualify graduates to practice as Industrial Engineers.
In any case, students beginning this degree program should possess the following aptitudes:
Personal Characteristics: Students with intellectual curiosity that drives them to develop the necessary skills and a desire to delve deeper into the field of industrial engineering. Candidates should have a critical attitude and analytical skills; planning, organizational, and teamwork abilities; a motivation for self-directed learning in technical fields; and an interest in pursuing a professional career in the industrial sector.
Academic Characteristics: Given the advanced teaching involved in this Master's program, it is necessary that the student has acquired a solid background in both basic sciences, mainly Mathematics and Physics, and industrial technologies (Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics and Automation, and Industrial Chemistry and Environment).
