The occupational prospects of the MSET would include the following:
- Power plants: as a production engineer in design, operation and control projects of energy systems in the building, industrial or power generation field.
- Industrial plants of all types: as an energy expert to optimize processes and reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution.
- Consulting : as a technical consultant in companies, all types of buildings and transformation industries that require efficient use of energy, conversion of energy sources or implementation of renewable energy technologies.
- Energy sector consulting (national, international and regional public administrations, energy agencies, etc.) : as an advisor on technical, scientific and technological aspects from an integrated perspective, to achieve a global vision of the different production processes that make up the chain for the use of each of the energy sources.
- Applied research: as a researcher and designer of innovative concepts for equipment and systems, materials and instruments for the use of energy in general.
- Freelance Exercise: as a small or medium-sized entrepreneur to design, produce and market equipment and accessories related to the use of new renewable energy sources.
