Double Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering (MII) and Chemical Engineering (MIQ)

Current legislation considers the regulated professions of Industrial Engineer and Chemical Engineer one whose exercise requires possession of the corresponding official Master's degree.
The Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (MII) includes all the skills necessary to acquire the professional powers of the regulated profession of Industrial Engineer, complying with all the precepts of Order CIN/311/2009 (BOE of February 18, 2009) by which establishes the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that qualify for the exercise of the profession of Industrial Engineer, powers that are included in the Decree of September 18, 1935, published in the Madrid Gazette of September 20 1935.
The Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering (MIQ) meets the recommendations of the Resolution of June 8, 2009, of the General Secretariat of Universities (BOE of August 4, 2009), to qualify for the profession of Chemical Engineer.

In particular, it enables you to carry out multiple activities related to the chemical industry and related sectors such as the energy sector, paper, textile, pharmaceutical, food, oil and rubber, materials and biotechnology industries; development of new chemical products and processes, recycling and treatment of industrial waste and environmental studies, quality management and health and safety. The combination of both degrees provides students with a solid scientific training, as well as a wide variety of knowledge in various industrial technologies (mechanics, electricity, electronics, automation, materials, industrial constructions, projects, production, chemistry and environment, energy, and industrial organization). Likewise, this degree enables you to apply scientific-technical knowledge in research, development, innovation and management in multidisciplinary environments, to generate and transfer technical knowledge and to state, design, develop, manage and direct complex projects. This complete combination forges you as a multidisciplinary professional capable of developing your professional work in multiple areas. The total number of credits for the double Master's degree is 153.5 credits, without training supplements. There are certain subjects that can be recognized depending on the subjects that each student has taken in the degree of origin.
