The current legislation considers the regulated professions of Industrial Engineer and Chemical Engineer, one whose exercise requires being in possession of the corresponding official master's degree.
The Title of Master in Industrial Engineering (MII) includes all the necessary competences to acquire the professional powers of the regulated industrial engineer, fulfilling all the precepts of the order CIN/311/2009 (BOE of February 18, 2009) by which the requirements for the verification of the official university titles that enable for the exercise of the profession of industrial engineer are established, attributions. The University Master in Chemical Engineering (MIQ) meets the recommendations of the resolution of June 8, 2009, of the General Secretariat of Universities (BOE of August 4, 2009), to enable for the profession of chemical engineer. In particular, it enables multiple activities related to the chemical industry and related sectors such as the energy sector, lineile, textile, pharmaceutical, food, oil and rubber, material and biotechnological industries; Development of new products and chemical processes, the recycling and treatment of industrial waste and environmental studies, quality and health and health management.
The combination of both degrees provides students with a solid scientific training, as well as a wide variety of knowledge in various industrial technologies (mechanics, electricity, electronic, automatic, materials, industrial constructions, projects, production, chemical and environment, energy, energy, and industrial organization). Likewise, this degree enables to apply scientific-technical knowledge in research, development, innovation and management in multidisciplinary environments, to generate and transfer technical knowledge and to enunciate, design, develop, manage and direct complex projects. This complete combination, forges as a multidisciplinary professional capable of developing their professional work in multiple areas. The total number of credits for the double master's degree is 153.5 credits, without training accessories. There are certain subjects that can be recognized based on the subjects that each student has completed in the degree of origin.
