Business practice
As a student of the double university master's degree in Chemical Engineering and University Master in Environmental Engineering of the ETSI , you can complement your training with the optional subject “Practices in Companies”.
This experience will allow you to take the first steps in your professional career, developing the skills that companies require today. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in your studies in real projects, with the help of both public and private organizations, national and international.
The management of the US internship programs is developed through the Secretariat of Business Internships (SPEE) and from the Business Internship Department of the ETSi .
According to the “Regulations of External Academic Practices of the University of Seville”, approved by Agreement 10.1/CG 23-5-17, there are 2 types of practices:
Curricular Practices
Curricular practices are part of the Degree/Master Study Plan as an optional subject.
The number of hours to be carried out corresponds to the number of credits assigned to the subject "Company practices". Each ECTS credit is equivalent to 25 hours of work, both in degrees and in masters. More information about curricular practices.

Extracurricular Practices
The University of Seville (US) offers its students and entitled the possibility of completing their academic training and acquiring a professional experience through the realization of practices in companies and institutions. There is the possibility of carrying out external practices. The practices can be carried out with the collaborating companies of the Master, Universities or Research Centers.
These practices, not contemplated in the curriculum, are professional dives in companies or institutions that have the purpose of providing:
- A closer knowledge of the work environment.
- The development of professional skills and attitudes.
- The acquisition of habits, practices and values of the world of work.
They constitute an important complement to academic training, a filming aimed at facilitating the subsequent labor insertion.
