The ETSi participates in the General Assembly of the International Heritage Network

Professor Miguel Ángel González Cagigal, as ETSi delegate for the International Heritage Network , participated last April in the 7th Annual General Assembly, held at the IIT Roorkee University (Indian Institutes for Technology), in India.

The objective of the ETSi, as a member of this network of excellence, is to deepen international mobility exchanges in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees with the European and Indian Universities and Engineering Centers that are part of it. 

 

At this meeting, which is held annually alternately in Europe and India, the guidelines around which the network's actions will revolve were discussed. Likewise, the venue for the 2025 General Assembly was proclaimed, which will be held at TU Dresden University, Dresden, Germany.

 

The Heritage Network aims to strengthen Higher Education Cooperation (in research and education) between Europe and India in the field of Engineering Sciences. Currently, the network consists of 16 Indian and 14 European members, whose objectives are:  

  • Develop academic and research exchanges between partner institutions and promote high-level educational programs in Engineering, Science, Design and Technology between Europe and India.
  • Organize annual workshops on scientific and technical topics of mutual interest.
  • Be a reference for the governments of Europe and India and gain influence on internationalization policies of higher education and research cooperation.
  • Maintain strong relationships and fruitful alliances between members.
