In the first School Board, the representatives of the sectors that make up the Center's academic community have unanimously supported the only candidate to direct the ETSi, headed by Professor Andrés Sáez Pérez, assigned to the Department of Continuous Media Mechanics and Structure Theory. 

In the coming weeks, Sáez Pérez will be appointed Director of the ETSI by the Rector of the University of Seville, Miguel Ángel Castro Arroyo. Under the same procedure, the Deputy Directors of the Center will be appointed and take office.
