A team of ETSI students in the European Final of the competition Times
The Jada team, formed by the students of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, Javier Jiménez Apare Times (Tournament in Management and Engineering Skills), obtaining a fifth position.
The competition, organized by the European Network Estiem (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management), He brought together the eight university teams that, after the semifinal played in Budapest (Hungary), were classified for the final in Aquison (Germany).
The contest takes place between tests of analysis and resolution of real business cases in which participants have to demonstrate not only the skills and knowledge achieved in their respective university centers, but those others called soft skills, essential to achieve optimal successes and results not only in these types of competitions, but in the future as engineering professionals.
The Sevillian team has demonstrated an excellent career in the contest, since to reach the final they have had to exceed various local, national and European phases, played by more than 50 teams and with the participation of more than 200 students. This achievement marks a special milestone for Estiem LG Sevilla, association to which classified students belong, since since 2017 no Sevillian team had reached the final of this demanding international contest.

Times. The objective of the tournament is to test the analytical, strategic, communication and teamwork of engineering students throughout Europe, through the resolution of real business challenges proposed by collaborating companies.
Estiem (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management) is a network that connects industrial organization engineering students in more than 70 European universities, promoting their academic and professional development through international projects, exchanges and competences.
Estiem Sevilla (LG Sevilla) is the local group of this network at the University of Seville, active within ETSI, where students organize and participate in training events, international competencies and personal and professional development activities in an international environment.
