Access and admission

  • Access to the Master's degree that qualifies for the practice of the profession of Aeronautical Engineer will be granted to those who have previously acquired the competencies set out in section 3 of Ministerial Order CIN/308/2009, which establishes the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that qualify for the practice of the profession of Aeronautical Technical Engineer, and whose training is in accordance with that established in section 5 of the aforementioned Ministerial Order.

  • Likewise, access to the master's program will be permitted when the applicant's degree certificate proves that they have completed the basic training module and the common module for the branch, even if they do not cover a complete block of the specific technology module and have completed 48 credits of those offered in the set of blocks of said module of a degree that qualifies for the exercise of Aeronautical Technical Engineer, in accordance with the aforementioned Ministerial Order.

  • Likewise, those who hold the title of Aeronautical Technical Engineer in any of its specialties may access this Master's degree, without prejudice to the fact that in this case the supplementary prior training that is deemed necessary will be established.

In accordance with the regulations of the University of Seville for university master's degrees, the admission process for the master's degree is the responsibility of the center responsible for the master's degree, which will establish the selection criteria, always respecting the principles of merit and equal opportunities.

If there are more applications than places, they will be ordered according to an evaluation that will take into account the following criteria:

  • Academic record.

  • The correspondence between the competencies of the student's prior degree and the competencies of the reference degree required for admission to this master's program will be assessed, evaluating the suitability of the academic curriculum content (based on a review of the completed courses) to these competencies. This assessment will be carried out by the Master's Academic Committee.

  • Curriculum Vitae, taking into account the student's work experience and any additional studies they may have, and in particular, their knowledge of English and other languages. This assessment will be carried out by the Master's Academic Committee.

Having ordered the students who request admission according to the aforementioned assessment criteria, as many applicants as there are places offered will be admitted, in strict order of priority. In the event of resignations, applicants not selected in the first instance will be eligible for admission, again according to their order of merit.

Specifically, the Academic Committee will give priority to graduates in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Seville, given that this degree has been used as a reference for the design of the curriculum of the Master of Aeronautical Engineering.

The entry and enrollment procedure is regulated by the Andalusian Single District Agreement.
