Recommended Profile:
The dual degree program is designed for students with prior undergraduate degrees in Industrial Technology Engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering, and Advanced Chemical Engineering.
Students beginning this program should possess the following skills:
- Personal Characteristics: Students with intellectual concern that pushes them to develop the necessary skills and wish to delve deeper into the area of knowledge of industrial engineering. Candidates must have a critical attitude and analytical skills; planning, organization and teamwork skills; motivation for self-learning in the field of technical education; and interest in developing a professional activity in the industrial sector.
- Academic Characteristics: Given the advanced teaching involved in this Master's program, it is necessary that the student has acquired a solid background in both basic sciences, mainly Mathematics and Physics, and industrial technologies (Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics and Automation, and Industrial Chemistry and Environment).
Admission implies the student's acceptance that the Academic Committee will oversee the terms of their enrollment to ensure consistency between the student's prior education, the chosen subjects within the Master's program, and the sequence of study for those subjects. Approval by the Academic Committee of the course selections chosen by each student is a prerequisite for formalizing enrollment. The Master's Academic Committee will appoint one or more advisors responsible for this task. If a student disagrees with the advisors' recommendations, they may appeal to the Master's Academic Committee and the Director of the Center, with the latter making the final decision.
