Access and admission

  • Those who hold a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (or similar qualification that grants access to the profession of Telecommunications Technical Engineer) will be given high preference to the Master's Degree that qualifies for the practice of the profession of Telecommunications Engineer.

  • Likewise, GIERM graduates will be given medium preference access to the master's program.

  • Finally, those who hold one of the following degrees may access this Master's program with low preference: Degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar, provided they grant access to the profession of Industrial Technical Engineer specializing in Industrial Electronics), Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering (Specialization in Electronics or Automation) or Industrial Engineer (Specialization in Electronics or Automation).

In accordance with the University of Seville's regulations for master's programs, the admissions process is the responsibility of the program's faculty, which will establish the selection criteria, always respecting the principles of merit and equal opportunity.

If there are more applications than places available, they will be ranked according to an evaluation that
takes into account the following criteria:

  • Academic record.

  • Student's level of preference for the entry qualification.

  • Curriculum Vitae, taking into account the student's work experience and any additional studies they may have, and in particular, their language skills. This assessment will be carried out by the Master's Academic Committee.

Once the applicants have been ranked according to the aforementioned evaluation criteria, all applicants will be admitted according to the number of available places, strictly in order of priority. In the event of withdrawals, applicants not initially selected may be considered for admission, again according to their order of merit.

Specifically, the Academic Committee will give priority to graduates in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Seville, given that this degree has served as a reference for the design of the Master's program in Telecommunications Engineering curriculum.

The admission and enrollment procedure is governed by the Andalusian Single District Agreement.
