Curriculum

The combination of these two degrees allows students to acquire all the professional qualifications of an Industrial Engineer and a research specialization in Electrical Power Systems, gaining essential knowledge such as renewable energy integration, electricity markets, and microgrids. In addition to the knowledge demanded by all companies in the electricity sector, given the changing energy model, the training provided creates a highly sought-after professional profile.

Industrial Engineers have always played a vital role in society, but today, a comprehensive understanding of electrical power systems confers a highly qualified, specialized, and in-demand technical profile.

However, this dual master's program is not only designed with a professional focus; its structure is also intended to equip students with the research skills increasingly demanded by society. This provides access to the only inter-university doctoral program in this field of knowledge at the national level, allowing students to simultaneously obtain a doctorate from the University of Seville, the University of the Basque Country, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and the University of Malaga.
