Access: As access requirements, it will be necessary to meet both the access requirements to the MII and those corresponding to the MSEE, with the respective Academic Commissions retaining the powers over the evaluation of candidates and the establishment of training supplements and leveling subjects referred to in the verification reports, with the exception of the subjects specified in section 3d of this section, which will be considered as training supplements for the double Master's degree.

Recommended Profile: The most suitable profile for acquiring the necessary skills and competencies is that of a Senior Engineer with specific training in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
The MSEE website includes a table indicating other degrees that grant access to the Master's program. The required supplementary courses will depend on the elective courses the student may have taken during their undergraduate studies and on the program's curriculum. Therefore, the entire admissions process is subject to the review of the Master's program's academic committee. In exceptional circumstances, and after review of their curriculum, other graduates may be admitted.
The Master's program is geared towards engineers, engineering graduates, and technical engineers with prior training or experience in Electrical Engineering who wish to further their specialization or pursue a doctorate. In exceptional circumstances, and after review of their curriculum, other graduates may be admitted, provided they possess sufficient foundational knowledge to adequately follow the Master's program courses. Students who do not demonstrate sufficient prior training in Electrical and Industrial Engineering will be required to take supplementary courses, depending on their profile.
Due to the use of English in the master's program (bibliography, lectures, etc.), it is recommended that students possess a minimum level of English proficiency equivalent to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
In any case, students beginning this degree program should possess the following aptitudes: - Personal Characteristics: Students with intellectual curiosity that drives them to develop the necessary skills and a desire to delve deeper into the field of Electrical Engineering. Candidates should have a critical attitude and analytical skills; planning, organizational, and teamwork abilities; motivation for self-directed learning in the field of technical studies; and an interest in pursuing a professional career in the electrical sector. - Academic Characteristics: Given the advanced teaching involved in this Master's program, students must have a solid foundation in both the basic sciences, primarily Mathematics and Physics, and the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering. To help students tailor their curriculum to their specific needs, the University of Seville develops information and guidance materials for incoming students, including the University of Seville Degree Guide, accessible at https://www.us.es/estudiar/que-estudiar
. The University of Seville, through its Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies section, offers detailed information on its official Master's degree programs, including admission criteria, specializations, responsible centers, etc., at https://www.us.es/estudiar/que-estudiar/oferta-de-masteres .
Admission implies the student's acceptance that the Academic Committee will oversee the terms of their enrollment to ensure consistency between the student's prior education, the chosen subjects within the Master's program, and the sequence of study. Approval by the Academic Committee of the course selections chosen by each student is a prerequisite for formalizing enrollment. The Master's Academic Committee will appoint one or more advisors responsible for this task. If a student disagrees with the advisors' recommendations, they may appeal to the Master's Academic Committee and the Director of the Center, with the latter making the final decision.
