The ETS of Engineering of the University of Seville delivers awards and recognitions to its academic community

The Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville (ETSI) has held another year its act of awards and recognitions, corresponding on this occasion to the 2024/2025 course, in which it has extolled the work of its academic community as well as the work carried out in the different areas of engineering.

The awards ceremony has been chaired by Andrés Sáez Pérez, director of the ETS of Engineering of the US, to which part of the team of subdirector, head of studies and secretary of the ETSI, as well as representatives of the chairs and institutions that award awards in this edition.

The best end of grade projects and the best final master's jobs developed by ETSI students have been recognized, according to their theme, by the different chairs of the center (Moeve, Endesa, Inerco, addressed and Emasesa), as well as the awards awarded by the Caja de Ingeniería Foundation, the Manuel Gayán Buiza prize, the Andalusian Labor Foundation Award of the Cement and the Environment (Facem to the scientific article of the ETSI of the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2023 and 1st and 2nd quarter of 2024, as well as the thanks and recognition of the personnel that celebrate the 25th anniversary in the center and which after a long professional career, have reached retirement.

The work of the institutions that support the chairs that develop activity in the ETSI uniquely drives the progress of the intellectual development of the students of the center, as well as their training, thus contributing to the development of the students who in a few years will leave these classrooms such as professionals such as professionals

Another year, the Manuel Gayán Buiza Foundation, highlighted the brilliant and brilliant curriculum of a student of the center, Eva Masero Rubio, a university master's degree in robotic and automatic electronic engineering from the University of Seville and a doctor in automatic, electronic and telecommunication engineering for the US, for their work "coalitional model predictive control: optimization, heuristic and robustness" as well as for its academic, personal and curricular projection.

The engineering STDS has also recognized the works awarded with the prizes to the scientific article of the quarter, which aims to promote scientific publication in the ETSI, as well as the dissemination of research. In this edition, the awards have been delivered to the best works of the last two quarters of 2023 and the first two of 2024.
