About ICUAS 2024
The International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (ICUAS) is the most important conference on research in unmanned aerial systems worldwide . Held annually since 2008, its objective is to bring together the most advanced researchers and the most innovative works on this type of specialized robotics. This year's edition has had as its central axis the civil and public domain use, as well as the social impact, of unmanned aviation and its effect on the quality of daily life.
The workshops and conferences of this year's edition have been focused on five main areas; bio-inspired aerial platforms, hybrid platforms, resistant design of prototypes, human factors to take into account and the framework and regulations for the integration of these devices into the national airspace. ICUAS 2024 has brought together in the same forum national and international organizations, official bodies, industrial agents, representatives of the private sector, public authorities, potential users and professionals, as well as researchers who have been able to show their proposals to the world, as is the case of the Robotics, Vision and Control Group and the eight academic works presented during this edition and that correspond to various research projects carried out this year.
