Last Thursday, March 9, another edition of the bullfighting and university awards ceremony of the Real Maestranza de Caballería of Seville .
  In a solemn event held on the same albero of the square where, on the one hand, the best bullfighting performances of the April Fair of 2022 are recognized, and on the other, the best records from each of the faculties and schools of the Sevilla University. These awards were awarded by Miguel Ángel Castro Arroyo, Rector of the University of Seville; Santiago de León y Domecq, Lieutenant of Hermano Mayor of the Real Maestranza of Seville; Jesús Aguirre Muñoz, President of the Andalusian Parliament; Antonio Sanz Cabello, Presidential Counselor; and José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, Minister of University, Research and Innovation.

Francisco Javier Urrios Gómez has been the student awarded the Best Degree Record of the ETSi by the Real Maestranza de Caballería of Seville.

Javier, who received the award at the Real Maestranza, tells us: “I am very proud to have received this award, and I hope to be able to demonstrate everything that the school has taught me in these years about the engineering profession.” . “I also wanted to remember the rest of my colleagues. There is only one award, but there are many more committed and qualified professionals who come out of this school . Francisco Javier Urrios Gómez , a native of Córdoba, began studying the Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the US in 2018-2019, after obtaining the highest Selectivity qualification in his province. He graduated as an Aerospace Engineer last year in 2022, and is currently studying the Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the ETSi .

“This year I am still here in Seville, and if everything goes well, next year I will be in Milan, as part of the Double Master's program in Aeronautical and Space Engineering. I opted for this option because in the future I would like to dedicate myself to something related to the topic of space, and the truth is that I am quite excited.
